The Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners will convene a Special Meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Doña Ana County Commission Chambers, 1st Floor, Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 North Motel Boulevard, Las Cruces:

  1. Pledge of Allegiance
  2. Roll Call of Commission Members Present and Determination of Quorum.

    COMMISSION CONVENES AS THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS IN OPEN SESSION.

  3. Adopt a Resolution and Proclamation Calling for an Election on the Question of Issuing General Obligation Bonds for an Amount Up to $6,000,000 Payable from Property Taxes to Acquire, Construct, Equip, Furnish and Otherwise Improve an E-911 Emergency Dispatch Center – Bill Noland, Finance Director, will discuss.
  4. Adopt a Resolution and Proclamation Calling for an Election on the Question of Issuing General Obligation Bonds for an Amount Up to $1,000,000 Payable from Property Taxes to Construct, Equip, Furnish and Otherwise Improve the Southern New Mexico Fairgrounds – Bill Noland, Finance Director, will discuss.
  5. Adopt a Resolution and Proclamation Calling for an Election on the Question of Issuing General Obligation Bonds for an Amount Up to $800,000 Payable from Property Taxes to Acquire, Construct, Equip, Furnish and Otherwise Improve the Facility(s) for the Purpose of Housing and Caring for Animals that are the Subject of Pending Prosecutions Involving Animal Cruelty – Bill Noland, Finance Director, will discuss.
  6. . Approve an Ordinance Issuing an One-Fourth (1/4) of One Percent (1%) Countywide Emergency Communications and Emergency Medical and Behavioral Health Services Tax – Bill Noland, Finance Director, will discuss.
  7. Adopt a Resolution and Proclamation Calling for an Election on the Question of Imposing the Countywide Emergency Communications and Emergency Medical and Behavioral Health Services Tax – Bill Noland, Finance Director, will discuss.
