POLICY ON RISK AND INSURANCE MANAGEMENT

Doña Ana County is to be protected against accidental loss or losses which, in the aggregate during any financial period, would significantly affect personnel, property, the budget or the ability of Doña Ana County to continue to fulfill its responsibilities to taxpayers and the public.

Doña Ana County will apply a Risk Management process which includes a systematic and continuous identification of loss exposures, the analysis of these exposures in terms of frequency and severity probabilities, the application of sound risk control procedures and the financing of risk consistent with the County's financial resources.

The administration of the County's Risk Management Program is assigned to Ed Fridenstine.
