COUNTY PERSONNEL TO CANVASS BERINO NEIGHBORHOODS

Doña Ana County Animal Control and Codes Enforcement, along with staff from Planning and Constituent Services, as well as representatives from the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley will be going door-to-door in the community of Berino on Thursday, June 15, to offer education on domestic animal ordinances, trash accumulation, inoperable vehicles, weed control and other potential codes violations.

The Animal Control and Environmental Survey (ACES) program aims to educate residents on how to come into compliance with county ordinances involving domestic animals, solid waste and opportunities to beautify the area in which they live. In recent years, multiple ACES projects have been conducted countywide.

In conjunction with South Central Solid Waste Authority, a roll-off container will be made available on Saturday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to noon as part of the community clean-up initiative.
