Medical Reserve CorpsThe Southern New Mexico Medical Reserve Corps (SN MRC) supplements local community health and medical services during a disasters, public health emergencies, or community public health events with pre-identified, trained, and credentialed volunteers. Whether you are a healthcare professional or a lay volunteer, you will have the ability to assist Southern New Mexico, or another state, in response to a disaster. The Southern New Mexico MRC is part of a statewide and national network of local groups of volunteers committed to improving the health, safety, and resiliency of their communities. SNM MRC is One of Thirteen MRC dispersed in communities throughout New Mexico. Visit the New Mexico Department of Health’s Bureau of Health Emergency Management’s NM Medical Reserve Corps website for more information about the statewide MRC program. Visit the NM MRC Serves portal to register as an MRC Volunteer. Select “Southern New Mexico MRC” in the course of your application to volunteer with the Southern NM MRC in Doña Ana County.
