The Doña Ana County Community Development Department will solicit community input during a series of public hearings throughout the county to report on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

             The purpose of the hearings is to gauge community development needs and suggestions from the public for future CDBG projects.

The meetings are scheduled for the following dates and locations:

            The CDBG program was established under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 to assist communities in providing housing, essential community facilities, and to promote economic development while maintaining a suitable living environment.

             Anyone who is interested in giving input on future projects is invited to attend, submit project ideas, or to provide support data or testimony.
