  3. Presentation by PlaceMakers Regarding the Continuance of the Comprehensive Plan Process and the Reinvigorated Stakeholder and Outreach Efforts July 8-10 – Daniel Hortert, Community Development Director, will introduce.
CONSENT AGENDA - The Board will be asked to approve by one motion the following items of recurring or routine business:
  4. Acknowledge Receipt and Public Filing of the Treasurer’s Report for the Month of May 2014 – David Gutierrez, County Treasurer, will discuss.
  5. Approve Resolution Accepting Funding Offer for Langford Roads from the NMDOT 2014-2015 Local Government Road Fund (LGRF) School Bus Route Program (SB), and Approve Budget Revision and Resolution, and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager to Take All Actions Necessary – Robert Armijo, County Engineer, will discuss.
  6. Approve Resolution Accepting Funding Offer for Tel High Road, Luna Azul Road Phase VI and Desert Aire Drive from the NMDOT 2014-2015 Local Government Road Fund (LGF) County Arterial Project (CAP), and Approve Budget Revision and Resolution, and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager to Take All Actions Necessary – Robert Armijo, County Engineer, will discuss.
  7. Approve Resolution Accepting Funding Offer for McCrimon from the NMDOT 2014-2015 Local Government Road Fund (LGRF) Cooperative Agreement Program (COOP), and Approve Budget Revision and Resolution, and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager to Take All Actions Necessary – Robert Armijo, County Engineer, will discuss.

  8. Approve Invitation from the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners to Host the 2016 Annual Conference of the New Mexico Association of Counties – Jess Williams, Public Information Director/Commission Liaison, will discuss.
  9. Request for the Board of County Commissioners to Reappoint Judy LaPointe to One Board Position Representing Labor, and to Appoint Charles Huestis to One Board Position Representing Management to the Doña Ana County Labor Management Relations Board in Accordance with Ordinance #215-04 – Deb Weir, Human Resources Director, will discuss.
  10. Review and Consider for Approval Amendments to the Amended Agreement between Doña Ana County and Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) for Contract and Fiscal Management and Administrative Services – Julia T. Brown, County Manager, will discuss.
PUBLIC HEARING/ORDINANCE
  11. Approve Ordinance to Amend the Code of the County of Doña Ana, Chapter 142, Building Code, Section 142-5 Local Amendments to Code, to Add a New Subsection 104.11.3, Tire Walls and Structures, as a Local Amendment to the 2009 International Building Code – Cathy Jimenez, County Building Official, will discuss.
CORRESPONDENCE
  18. Lynn Ellins, County Clerk, will present to the Commission any claims received by Doña Ana County.

COMMISSION MAY CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION

to discuss threatened or pending litigation regarding a subdivision, as authorized by the Open Meetings Act, § 10-15-1 (H) (7).

 

COMMISSION MAY CONVENE IN OPEN SESSION to take action, if any, on the closed session items.

COMMISSION ADJOURNS AS THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND THE COUNTY BOARD OF FINANCE IN OPEN SESSION.
