Eric Crespin

Deputy Fire Chief Eric Crespin – The Deputy Fire Chief oversees the Operations, Prevention, and Training sections of Doña Ana County Fire and Emergency Services as well as the Hazardous Materials Response Team. Deputy Fire Chief Crespin directly supervises all of the career staff and is in charge of maintaining district operations in cooperation with the district chiefs. Deputy Fire Chief Crespin began in the fire service in 1992, and began his career with Doña Ana County in May of 2006.



Alma Pacheco

Administrative Assistant Alma Pacheco – The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Fire Chief and is the Office Manager for Fire Administration. Her duties include assisting the Fire Chief with day to day operations regarding budgetary and personnel matters and assisting the fire districts with daily administrative functions including state funding and communication with the State Fire Marshal’s Office. Alma joined Doña Ana County Fire and Emergency Services in July of 2007 and has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.



Celso Enciso

EMS/Training Captain Celso Enciso–Captain Enciso serves as the Fire Academy Coordinator, while ensuring that all EMS response matters county wide are addressed and guidance is established for all emergency responders. Captain Enciso has been in his position since 2013, prior to joining Fire Administration for Dona Ana County, Captain Enciso began his fire service career in 2001 before coming to DACFES.



Edgar Pinon

Fire Prevention Specialist/Captain Edgar Pinon – Captain Pinon has recently promoted to the position of FPS/Captain after serving as one of DAC’s firefighters for two years. Captain Pinon has also been a part of the volunteer service provided by DACFES with the La Mesa Fire station # 4 for a number of years prior to being hire full time with DACFES.



Arturo Herrera

Captain Arturo Herrera – Fire Prevention Specialists are tasked with code and ordinance enforcement, occupancy inspections, occupancy plan reviews, and fire origin and cause determination investigations. Captain Herrera began his career in the fire service in 1998 as a volunteer firefighter, and began his career with Doña Ana County in August of 2009.
