The Doña Ana County/City of Las Cruces Office of Emergency Management will host a public meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 7, to educate the public about the county’s basic all-hazards emergency operations plan.
For the second consecutive year, Doña Ana County employees have opened their wallets and hearts to bring holiday cheer to some of the area’s poorest families. Nearly 300 county employees representing all the county’s departments have contributed to the 2005 Colonias Toy Drive.
Tortugas Road from South Main to Tigua Drive will be closed for three days, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005. The closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day to facilitate utility work. Detour routes will be posted.
