CASE # SU09-004 / IGLESIA DE JESUCRISTO APOSTOLICA EBENEZER: The applicant, Iglesía de Jesucristo Aposolica Ebenezer, Daniel Corona, agent, is requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a 5920 sq. ft. church. The 1.86-acre subject parcel is zoned ER 4M (Residential, ½-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built and mobile homes) addressed as 9095 Red Roof Trail, and is described as part of Lot 4 of the Woodburn Subdivision, #4, recorded on February 4, 1994 in Book 18, Pages 13-14 in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk . Pursuant to Article III, Section 3.1.E.1.d.7, churches require a Special Use Permit in the ER 4M District. The parcel is located east of the City of Las Cruces, north of US Hwy 70, within Section 8, Township 22 South, and Range 3 East, and can be further identified by Map Code # 4-014-128-244-328.

CASE # Z09-001 / BOWLIN: The applicant, Bowlin Travel Centers, Inc., Kit Johnson, agent, is requesting initial zoning on two parcels totaling 30.077-acres to EC2 (Community Commercial, 5,000 sq. ft. minimum lot area) for an established retail business (Old West Trading Post) located on the westernmost portion of the property. The subject properties are located west of the City of Las Cruces, at the northeast corner of the I-10 Interchange Exit 127, and addressed as 13350 West Frontage Road, Fairacres, NM, within Section 36, Township 23 South, and Range 2 West. The subject parcels are described as Tract 1 and Tract 2 of the State of New Mexico Exchange Patent No. 4354, as recorded in the Office of the Dona Ana County Clerk in Instrument # 0824724 on September 2, 2008. The subject parcels can be further identified by Map Code No’s. 3-007-138-262-145 and 3-007-138-262-150.
