The Doña Ana Board of County Commissioners will consider the following subdivision cases on the agenda at their regular meeting to be held on Tuesday October 23, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., in the County Commissioner’s Chambers at Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Boulevard, Las Cruces, New Mexico.

DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS

CASE # SD06-009:Submitted by the Housing Authority of Doña Ana County, a Type Three B Subdivision to be known as Casas del Quinto Sol. The applicant is proposing 21 lots on 11.02 acres: 5.52 acres for residential housing, 3.74 acres for streets and 1.77 acres for open space. Lots will range in size from 0.231 acres to 0.457 acres. This property is identified as being within Section 21, Township 25 South, Range 3 East, and is located on New Mexico State Road 227 approximately ¼ mile west of Interstate 10 in the Community of Vado NM.

CASE# SD07-003: Submitted by Roma Homes Inc., a Type II Subdivision Preliminary Plat to be known as Tierra Encantada Unit III. The 30.48-acre subdivision is zoned CR-1M, with a Planned Unit Development Overlay designation, and will consist of 181 residential lots ranging in size from 0.11-acres to 0.20-acres, providing six dwelling units per acre. All of the proposed lots meet the minimum lot size requirements of the granted PUD overlay designation. The subject property is located on the southwest corner of Stern Drive and Acosta Road within Township 26 South, Range 3 East, Section 25 and can be further identified by Map Code # 4-018-155-358-493.
