NEW BUSINESS

3. Case # RM 07-003 - Chonte Avenue: Submitted by Anel Mendoza, a request for the County to accept Chonte Avenue for maintenance from Recuerdos Road, east approximately 1,270 feet to where the road dead-ends. Currently, Chonte Avenue from New Mexico State Highway 26 to Recuerdos Road is a paved surface. The remaining portion of the road is unpaved and does not meet the road standards for a minor local street. A 60’ road and utility easement exist along the alignment of Chonte Avenue. Staff has verified that the affected property owners for this portion of the road have signed the petition required by Resolution No. 05-022. The road is located within Township 19S, Range 3W, and Section 17. County Staff to discuss.

4. A potential Subdivision to be submitted to be subdivided for by Daniel Ortiz. Mr. Ortiz intends to subdivide a five (5) acre parcel into three (3) lots ranging in size between one (1) and three (3) acres. The applicant wishes to discuss the road improvement requirements, additional right of way requirements, and access requirements. The subject property is located on Opitz Rd and is further identified by map code # 4-015-153-495-430. Applicant to discuss.

5. Silver King Estates Subdivision is currently under review by staff. The applicant is proposing to subdivide a five (5) acre tract of land into five (5) one (1) acre lots. The subject property is located approximately 1,400 feet south of Soledad Canyon Road on Silver King Road, within Section 22, Township 23S, Range 3E, and be further identified by Map Code # 4-016-136-100-410. Engineering Services would like to review the offsite roadway improvements and the offsite roadway maintenance requirements associated with this application. Engineering Services to discuss.
