6. CASE #Z06-017/LOGOS DEVELOPMENT: The applicants RCA Tierra, Inc.; Primera LLC. ; Philippou LLC, are requesting a zone change from ER3 and ER3M (Residential, single-family, site built homes and mobile homes, 1-acre minimum lot size) to a combination of ER6 (Single family, site built home, 5,000 Sq. Ft lot size) on approximately 316-acres; ER7 (Single family and multi family 5,000 Sq. Ft. lot size, maximum of 15 dwelling units per acre) on approximately 140-acres; and EC2 (Community commercial district for retail and personal services) on approximately 15-acres. The property is south to the Las Cruces city limits, along Stern Drive at the north side of Missionary Ridge, and is further identified by Map Code Numbers: 4-012-143-482-332, 4-012-143-458-350, 4-012-143-360-270, 4-012-143-280-095, 4-012-142-120-300, 4-012-142-180-280, and 4-011-142-480-080.

7. CASE SU06-012/ROGERS GROUP: The applicant is requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a lift station and force main for sewer service for the new Sanctuary Subdivision. Pursuant to the Las Cruces Extra Territorial Zoning Ordinance Article III, Section 3.1.F.1.d.7, public utility installations, substations, and water wells require a Special Use Permit in the ER5 District. The subject property is a 0.36-acre parcel, Tract C (per the final plat), of the Sanctuary Subdivision, zoned ER5. The parcel is located on Sanctuary Avenue near the intersection of New Mexico Highway 28 and Carver Road. The Map Code Number is 4-007-139-469-155.

8. CASE SU07-001/NERMYR: The applicant, Jim Nermyr, is requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a 724 square foot accessory living quarters (a guest house). Pursuant to the Las Cruces Extra Territorial Zoning Ordinance Article V, Section 7.2, accessory living quarters require a Special Use Permit in the ER2 District (single-family site-built homes, minimum two-acre lot size). The 2.3-acre subject parcel is addressed at 5011 Alamo Mine Trail. It is located near the intersection of Talavera Avenue, east of the City of Las Cruces, and can be further identified by Map Code Number 4-015-136-152-052.
