The Grants Administration Office (GAO), is an office within the Financial Services Department. Our primary focus is to seek out new and alternative funding sources that support the County’s long term strategic and financial goals.
Activities include researching grant funded opportunities that connect county departments, external agencies, and non-profit partners to financial support through federal, state, and private sources. By providing pre-award assistance through technical review, proposal development, and application submittal. Overseeing county grant activity, through tracking and monitoring; from the application process to the final closing of the grant, and conducting audits of grant funded programs to ensure that financial and programmatic compliance requirements are met.
