County officials and residents of Chamberino will gather 6.7 miles south of La Mesa on NM Hwy 28 on August 15 at 9:30 a.m., to mark the opening of a new road, Avenida Murillo. The naming of Avenida Murillo is a tribute to a respected businessman from Chamberino and pays homage to the history of the community. The naming and dedication ceremony will include a ribbon cutting.

The public is invited to attend. Guests are asked to arrive no later than 9:15 a.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
