The Doña Ana County Assessor's Office recently mailed out the property notices of value for the 2023 tax year. If you have any questions, disagree with the value, haven't received your notice in the mail, or would like to report any changes, staff will be available to help you at this location:

Report or protest if any of the following apply:
* You disagree with the valuation and want to file a protest.
* You made improvements or changes of more than $10,000 to your property.
* You need to claim head of family or veteran exemptions.
* You own a mobile or manufactured home, subject to 5% penalty for non-rendition.
* You need to claim head of family or veteran exemptions.
* You are declaring the property as residential.
* You are a 100% disabled veteran.
* You own business personal property or livestock.
* You turned 65 years of age, or you are permanently disabled and had a modified gross annual income of $40,400 or less in 2022.
* You are declaring the property as agricultural for the first time. (NOTE: annual applications need not be made if the land is presently valued as agricultural. Property owners must report whenever the use of the land changes or when it is no longer being used primarily for agricultural purposes.)
IN ACCORDANCE WITH PROPERTY TAX CODE SECTION 7-38-8.
Protests or requests for changes will not be accepted after May 1, 2023.
