In an effort to recover unpaid property taxes and maintain the financial health of the community, Doña Ana County has announced a delinquent property tax auction that will give an opportunity for potential buyers to acquire properties with outstanding tax liabilities.

The delinquent property tax auction is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21 at the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, NM. Interested parties are encouraged to arrive early. 

How the Process Works:

• Interested bidders must register at the auction location before participating in the bidding process.
• Bidders will have the opportunity to place bids on properties, and the highest bidder will be awarded the property.
• Successful bidders are required to make full payment for properties before the auction ends, payable to the Property Tax Division of the Taxation and Revenue Department. 

How to Obtain a List of Properties:

A hardcopy or emailed list of properties may be purchased at the Treasurer's Office for $10 per list or $15 for a list with maps. Only cash or check payments will be accepted.
