First-response Emergency Medical Services are provided by New Mexico licensed First Responders, EMT-Basics, and EMT-Intermediates who volunteer or are employed by Doña Ana County Fire and Rescue Services.

American Medical Response (AMR) is the contracted transport provider for the incorporated and unincorporated areas of Doña Ana County.

Each district within the county provides First Responder services at a minimum, while most provide EMT-Basic or EMT-Intermediate service.
